This happened to me..I contacted my mortgage company to report that the deed had been transferred into someone else's name. I was instructed to report it to the authorities for land fraud. This crime goes virtually unchallenged because law enforcement, etc. cannot conceive this even happening and when it does you are totally unprotected.
